Coffee Filter Idea- In 1908, Melitta Bentz, a housewife from Minden, Germany, punched holes in a brass pot and added a sheet of blotting paper from her son’s school notebook and let the coffee drip through it because she didn’t like the bitter taste of her coffee. The world’s first coffee filter was born thanks to Melitta and her innovative mind!
